Forum Title: Worth saving?
I tore up the carpets in my hallway to reveal the hardwood floor. It was in pretty good shape until I got to the area of where the previous owners added a closet for a washer and dryer. Most of the boards were placed back down with screws, and then we have part of the subfloor extending out. Is this worth trying to salvage or should I go with placing another flooring product over this? Thanks.

It would be easier to just cover it.

Yeah, I don't think that is actually hardwood.
